Are you sure it's 2.1k at 75mph? You have an auto? I think mine is higher than that for sure. More like 2.5k at 75mph.

The car sounds really good man...but did the shop make you a new pip to connect with the bolts or did they weld it on? did u take any pics of the underside after it was complete? curious to see how it looks under the car.

Accord096MT, I'm pretty sure they cut off the resonator, and welded it in cus that's how mine is

Next_Milenium, Also, I'm pretty sure its louder than a STOCK g37 and it is reversible if you keep your resonator because you can weld that one back in I'm pretty sure. I was charged $35 or $40 for the delete.

I happen to really like it because I thought that the magnaflow was not loud enough, as it could be barely heard outside.. With it cut off, it's noticeably louder

1. at the 2500rpm mark its noticeably louder in the interior.. again not enough to annoy me, I like hearing it... but it is louder than stock.. when we say 15% louder... this is the rev range I'm referring to that is 15% louder.

2. There IS definitly an increased vibration around the e-brake area right around the 2500 mark... only when the engine is under load though, if kept at a constant/coasting speed its not there... point is the little bit of vibration I hear isn't annoying its just kinda there... annoying would be if it was constant and refused to go away alllll the way to like 3500 or so.

I'm very confident that my sound deadening/dynamat phase will completely cure that so its not a bother at this time to me.

3. I was charged $70. To remove the res was 50 bucks, but I also had them remove all the clamps and weld up where ever the pipes met... I hated the way the clamps looked...

4. Definitely louder than the G37 outside... sounds more like a G37+ stock Magnaflow--- if i could imagine a G37 with a very conservative aftermarket exhaust... (that is louder than stock G37 but still no where near loud/obnoxious) thats what it would be.

5. Yes completely reversable... any exhaust shop will have several types of resonators of all sizes and shapes... if you ever wanted the res back, you could either have them weld yours back in, or any other resonator they have laying around, ie; a smaller one than that which came with the magnaflow... or even larger than the magnaflow if you wanted it quieter than the stock magnaflow.

I am glad you like the Exhaust.. and the Deep sexy 5 inch lip...

The noise you hear when i let off the gas, if those Big Fat tires i have in the rear, plus also having Negative camber on the tire to fit my fender!

I believe the resonator is to cause more turbolence in the air flow to quiet things dow

I'm still not 100% decided as I really have no plans for sound deadening project. It is interesting idea I'll probably give it a shot since it is reversible.

Try it for yourself.. I am pretty sure you going to like it..

Just like you didn't want to get the Magnaflow at first and now i know you wont go back to Stock haha.. HINT HINT go for it stop thinking about it.
