AKA Haters.

The ads wouldn't really bother me that much if they were on like a side bar, not right in front everytime a page loads. The only thing that really bothered me was the Toyota ad. Give us Honda ads, or throw the sponsors on the ad bar, ebay ads (people love that place here), Ads for partner sites. If the ads are necessary ofcourse.

Contrary to your opinion DA.net IS about Accords...

The comments were made due to the fact that it seems that a select few are keen on complaining as much as possible about petty issues. It should also be noted that the opinions that people post about DA in other areas of the net do get brought to the DA mods attention.

I do find it entertaining that you say DA.net is not about Accords considering so many of your posts had little to do with Accords (such as your "stalker" thread).

Anyhow, since you say you want your presence totally removed from DA I can delete your account..... just let me know...

Other then a Banner and the brightness of the forum I do not understand what the infighting is all about. People are entitled to their opinions but I much prefer a little constructive criticism rather then creating multiple threads about the same thing trying to stir up paranoia about some minor changes to the forum that have not effected anything. You can still log in you can still post and you can still see and share the same info. I am not here with the intention of changing this community, the community is built and has grown and will continue to grow. I am here to help make sure the site does not go anywhere.

The infighting that has been displayed in this thread has ZERO to do with your recent acquisition of DA. This has been an isolated issue for some time now and this is really the catalyst....

If it were not the current items it would be something else...

Infighting certainly wasn't the intent of this thread. Nor is just straight criticism of the new owners.

I started the thread before I realized we had new ownership and have attempted (in this thread and one other on the same topic) to provide critique I believe will be helpful to keep DA.net a quality and clean/crisp looking site. What the new owners do with it is up to them. They certainly seem open to suggestions so that is good to know.

It is unfortunate that the thread has taken a turn for the melodramatic and whiny.

Please keep in mind, this is a very isolated issue.

Everyone should keep in mind that this is a forum. Things can be discussed in a well mannered behavior versus calling people out. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and you rather have people come to your own forum versus them leaving and spreading the word how your forum is pretty much making people feel uncomfortable.
