94 EX lack of ABS light?

Just bought a new to us 94 EXL, the ABS light never comes on even when starting the car. Not entirely sure if this is normal? Is there a way to check the ABS? Kind of at a loss as to why that is the only light that does not come on at startup.

The bulb could be burnt out or a previous owner maybe pulled the bulb to conceal a problem with the ABS. You sure the car has ABS?

Im not sure how I tell if it has abs... there is what looks like a bulb in the cluster, the miles match the carfax so its the right cluster.... maybe the light is not supposed to turn on? htekken can you check next time you start yours?

I just assume it probably did since its EX with Leather... which I think is top of the line but I really do not know.

I had a 94 EX that I've since replaced, but I had a problem with the ABS. I'm a little fuzzy on the details (traded car in 4 1/2 yrs ago), but I seem to recall that sometimes the 'check ABS' light would come on, or some sort of indicator. Anyway, I had it checked out and recall them saying it was the ABS modulator or something, for which the part alone was $1400 or so. I never bothered getting it repaired.
