Low Tire Pressure Sensor / LTP S / {..!..}

whats up everyone.

So i've searched and read through a bunch of different threads but still could not find all the info i needed so i thought let's get one started here and have all the info needed.

I have a '08 accord 4 door with the sensor light on (few weeks now). All tire pressure has been check and fixed multiple times. I currently have it at 32 all around, and i also had it as 35 at one point. It's not a pressure issue. the TPMS light does not come on...and no recent changes to tires before this issue began.

What i am looking for:
-What other issues could case this?
-How are the batteries on the sensors changed?
-Where are the Sensor located?
-Could it be due to a sensor needing to be calibrated?

If there is anything i missed that could also cause the problem please share

Thank you!

Just another quick FYI, for once it went off for a few minutes but then came back on. Temperatures have been average (75F)

It sounds like a pressure issue to me. The /!\ symbol means that at least one tire is low. You should not have had to adjust tire pressure multiple times in a few weeks. I check my pressure weekly but only add air about once every two months unless there is a leak.

When are you checking tire pressure and what is the temperature swing in your area? If you adjust the pressure to 32 PSI in the afternoon when it is 75 and the temp drops to 45 in the morning you will only have 29 PSI in the tire until the ambient and tire temps increase. Check and set the pressure in the morning. Even when the temp rises you will still be well under the maximum pressure for the tire. I would also check for leaks, the easiest way being to take it to a tire shop.

if your seeing the (!) symbol then its a low tire but if your seeing a TPMS then something in the system is not working correctly and its throwing a alarm. passably a sensor gone bad I'm not sure if there is an easy DIY way to troubleshoot these sensors.

If you have to add air every two weeks you have a leak. Take it to a tire shop and get it fixed.
