Question Headlight fuses blowing? Help?!

I was recently involved in an accident in my 1998 V6 Accord. My drivers side outer tie rod end and sway bar link had to be replaced.

I noticed tonight that my driver's side headlight wasn't turning on at all (low and high beam). I've got an HID kit on all 4 bulbs. I looked at all of the connections and everything seems normal. The driver's side headlight fuse was blown so I tried to replace it (while the lights were on) and it blew as soon as I put it in.

I'm wondering if something is shorting out. Maybe something broke/came loose during the accident. I've had to jump start my car twice since the accident because of a dead battery.

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

I forgot to mention that when the high beam blue light is on at the gauge cluster only the low beam passenger headlight will be on but when the high beam blue light is off both the low and high beam light will be on at the passenger side.

That seems to be reversed from the normal factory operation. On high beam all 4 headlights would normally be on and with low beam just the two outside headlights.
It sounds like you have some major problems with your HID kit with the improper lights operating and running the battery down both of which may be related to your recent accident. My recommendation would be to put it back to the original factory headlight setup so it works and then decide if you want to do another HID conversion.

could be a bad ballast??? happens to me all the time.. luckily i have lifetime replacements just get the ballast from a bulb that works and use it on the bulb that keeps shorting, if it works then it's your ballast. normally its the fuse first but in your case your already blowing them. so second step would be to check the ballast.

Yes it turned out to be a bad ballast. I ended up just taking all of the hid kits off of the car and going back to halogen. I can't stand the ballasts going out so soon and having to buy new ones every three months. I'll just stick to halogen because they are dependable. Thanks guys.
