One DRL light is out but no DRL indicator on

I have this issue and don't know if this is the bulb or the DRL control module. Any ideas?
I don't want to bring it to the dealer yet.

Try unplugging the bulb see if the drl light comes on, I forgot to put one of my high beam lights in when changing some bulbs around and the drl light came right on. If it don't still at that point, try checking the fuse. After that I guess just take it to the dealer. Hope this helps

Just turn the high beam on and see if the bulb lights. If it doesn't switch it with the working bulb. If the working bulb works then you know it's a bulb problem. If not then it's the DRL system.

OK. The high beam is not working on this side too.
Where can I buy OEM bulb for cheap on-line? They are around $19 delivered.
What is the price from the dealer?
I don't want aftermarket part in my car.

It's a bulb. They sell the same brand at the parts store cheaper. I think it's Stanley. Just buy 9006 from any store.

^^yeah that

It's a bulb. That's like saying I don't want any "aftermarket" bulbs in my house.

Philips are the bulbs Honda uses from the factory. So just go with a Philips of u wanna stay OEM. U can get one just about anywhere. Amazon probably a good place to start.

OK. I looked at the bulb and it is Sylvania brand.
I could not disconnect the connector though.
It seemed to be stuck on the bulb. I pressed on the tab and pulled connector body towards the ground.
Any suggestions?

Yes, I'm original owner. My car is Japan made VIN starts with J. That is probably why it is different. 33115-S84-A11 is OEM part number for my high beam bulb. Dealer quoted me $28 for bulb replacement (part and labor).

Honda probably uses whatever bulb they can get at the lowest price at the time. Or they have contracts with Sylvania and Philips and use whatever they have on hand. Differences in bulb quality for a regular bulb from the two companies are likely negligible.

People are going to say the $28 is a rip-off. Figure about $10 to buy the bulb on your own at a regular store, so you're paying about $18 in labor. If you can do it yourself I would, but I also don't think $18 to change the bulb is a rip-off. The bulbs on our cars are kind of a pain in the ass to change.
