Best gift?

What was the best gift you received? What was the best gift you give to someone? What was the best thing you bought?

And did anyone see (real)Santa?

As for me, I bought myself a new tv which I hasn't been delivered yet (Best Buy still has my business)

Post pictures(specially car related), no boring stuff, and short description or review of the product

LMFAO at namegoeshere, Its both funny and sad to see stuff like that.

MM49:

The best thing I got was new 17 inch tires for my summer rims. I rode on crappy 17 inch winter tires all summer because I just wanted to burn them off so I wouldn't waste them and/or money when I bought a new set. My parents got me 4 all season tires (235/45/17R). I don't have them yet because they were pre-purchased from Canadian Tire and should be in next week.

As for the best gift that I got for someone, my brother, sister and myself all went in on a bike hitch for my dads Challenger (that I told him the only conditions to it were that he would take it off when its not in use so that it doesn't take away from the car).

We didn't do a huge Christmas this year, last year was the last year for that as I am the youngest in the family at 20 years old.

For "crappy winter tires" did you get those of a local mechanic or something ? A lot of non brands are being sold for cheap and what brand tires you get?

@namegoeshere Are you one of those people in the pic or have the same view as them

Nope. If I want something, I'll buy it myself with my own money.

my wife put good year nordic studded tires on the Accord..... studs alone make the tires garbage in my opinion. the sound of studs on pavement is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

They came with the rims when I bought then, They were Hankook tires. The reason I feel they were crappy was because they has gashes in the tread, chipped tread, and random sidewall slices that didn't puncture the tire but I felt that they could pop at any time. I realise this is dangerous but the damage didn't happen (or I didn't notice) until just before I changed the rims back to my winter rims.

As for the tires they got me, I'm not sure cause Canadian Tire had to order them, but I will be going in tomorrow morning to have them install them on my summer rims, knowing my parents they wouldn't have cheaped out on tires as they are already convinced that I am going to get hurt while driving (I hope thats just a parent thing and they arn't insulting my driving )

I hear that! I've been in my house for going on 6 months now ( bought it back in Nov. '09 ). We completed all the updates and remodeling before I moved in. It's nice to finally be in, but with 3 kids, a dog and cat .. it's not so fun trying to keep everything flawless heh. I'd like to get into another one already, bigger of course .. an extra room would be nice for media / electronics, currently my turntables and mixer are on top of my kitchen bar.

My next one I'm definitely getting 4 rooms and hopefully a small building in the back. I'm getting into home brewing and there is just never enough room.

Speaking of brewing .. that was my favorite present, brewing equipment that my girlfriend got me. We are going to brew up another batch this Sunday, a red IPA. Currently I have an imperial agave wit conditioning in bottles, should be ready in a few weeks.

Other than that, we got a 55" LED TV during black friday sales and I bought myself some Craftsman air tools.

My summer rims has winter tires on them. They are just plain rims that the person I bought them from has winter tires on so instead of spending 600-800 dollars on new summer tires I just drove on the winter tires all summer. About a month ago I changed my rims to my winter steel rims (15 inch, with winter tires).

This is what my 'summer' rims look like, only difference is that these are 4 bolt universal mine are 5 bolt universal.
