Wrong Low Beam Bulbs?

Long time lurker, first time poster. I have a 2008 Accord EX-L Coupe.

I recently ordered a set of headlight bulbs for my Accord. From everything I read, the 9005 are the high beam bulbs and the 9006 are the low beam bulbs. So I ordered some GE Nighthawk Platinums. Everything seemed ok.

I swapped out the High Beams with no trouble, but when I went to do the low beams (and I stopped after trying to do the driver side), I found out my bulbs didn't match! The 9006's didn't fit!

And sure enough, they failed the visual inspection too!
My existing low beams:

What I wanted to install:

Thoughts? Thanks.

The coupe takes H11 for the low beams. Says so right in the owner's manual. There's no way to make a 9006 fit.

9005/06 for Sedan headlights.

You coupe owners have H11 projector beam lows....

Edit: Markus beat me to it...

Consider H9 instead of H11 for some extra output.

Gah. Good to know. Basically Amazon.com's little car match utility doesn't get specific enough about body style. It simply asks/assumes - 2008 Honda Accord.

Thanks for the heads up on this.

When I purchased my headlight assemblies, not just the bulbs, I first received a Sedan model which their configuration thing said would fit. They not only took them back, but refunded me the $90 in labor at the body shop after they tried to get the wrong model installed.

Does anyone have a comprable bulb to recommend? The GE Nighthawk Platinum line doesn't appear to be offered in either the H9 or H11 size.

Just look for the Phillips on Amazon or something. They're quite good.

Give the Narva H9 a try. You can find them here... http://store.candlepower.com/h-9.html
