2.4L engine block coolant drain plugs- location?
Getting ready to drain and refill the coolant on my 04 Accord 2.4L. Are there engine block coolant drain plug(s)? If so where are they?
Owner's manual is no help, neither is Haynes.

There's only one, it's above the oil filter in the recess where a block heater would screw into. It's a 12 or 14mm allen. It's locktited in and it's VERY tight.
You can do basically the same thing by pulling the thermostat. Most of the block will drain.

+1 on the TIGHT. I tried to pull mine today (it's a 10 mm allen btw), and gave up on it for now. Will try next time I pull the oil filter for more clearance!
