I like it a lot!! Turned out great. Only thing I think would suit now is a different set of rims perhaps? Imo something dark or black would blend in better now. If you could also somehow tint the amber part of the headlights, then even better.

Thanks Dennis, I gotta save up for rims. I wanna tint first at least, and I'm thinking of smoking my tail lights. Definitely gonna think about smoking out the amber parts too.

Just clean the chrome well, tape it all off with painters tape, go over it once with rubbing alcohol to remove any last grease, and finally spray 3-4 coats of plastidip. If you don't like it or want to change something, the plasti dip simply peels off once dry.

I taped my chrome all the way to the very edge where it meets the painted car but I've seen some people leave a slight gap. This video explains what I'm talking about.

Plasti Dip on Window Trim

Also, I ended up removing the plasti dip on my emblem, looks a lot better with the all black grill.

Thanks gelboy. It's holding up pretty good. Mind you I actually did a terrible job on the trim. I checked a video after I did it and my way was completely wrong haha. I have some parts that are peeling up a bit and close up you can see a bunch of drips. From far it looks fine though. It was my first time dipping though so I'll know what not to do next time lol. Definitely do it up though and make sure to post pics! I'm thinking of dipping my door handles next and outlining my taillights in black. Goodluck with your dipping man!

Thanks Vtec!

Soooo I decided to blackout my door handles, and since I had some plasti-dip left, I outlined my taillights to try and achieve a sharper look. I'm not in love with it, but I don't hate it either. So my updated blackout list is:

Front Grille
Window Trim
Rear Emblem
License Plate Frames
Door Handles

Let me know what you guys think!!
