CarID is a joke

I shoulve googled the reviews of this website before ordering.. this company is a joke.

I placed an order for weathertech mats on the 6th of Jan, the expected ship date was the 18th because they needed time to manufacture them, so I was ok with that. The 18th rolls by, and I don't hear anything from these guys. Countless emails unanswered, finally I decide to call in on the 22nd. An hour later on hold, I am speaking to someone. This guy says "He doesnt know why they didnt ship but they shouldve, hes going to check and email me back." I wait 3 days and decided to give them a call again. I call right in the morning, literally 5 minutes after they opened and I was on hold for 30 minutes. Really?? I cant imagine the mass amount of calls they must've gotten in that 5 minutes of opening.. whatever, thats the least of my worries. Talk to another guy, he informs me that they have not shipped out yet and told me it will ship out the by end of this week. At this point, I just wanted to cancel the order and take my business elsewhere. He offers me some discount but I was not interested. The guy goes through with the cancellation and told me I should have my money within 24-72 hours, fair enough. I check my credit card to see if I was refunded the money today, thats 5 days, and why should I not be surprised?? I wasnt refunded sh!t.

After doing some googling and snooping around, I find out im not the only one whos gotten screwed by this piece of sh!t company. I'm going to be talking to my credit card company for sure.. DONT BUY SH!T FROM THESE GUYS. DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU GUYS

Turn it over to the card Co. they will get ahold of them and jump there chit for fraud charges..This is only a taste of what is going on in this world. This world is going to crap.

I agree, let the credit card companey do it's work. I'm not too sure what kind of card you have but i usually make a call to my bank companey and they take care of the rest.

Just let your CC company take care of it. That's odd, i've had no problems with CarId shipping to Canada in the past. I', sorry you had a bad experience, let us know if you find another site that you find reliable.

I'm going to call my credit card company for sure.. its just that its sunday here so I couldnt get it done today but tomorrow for sure. Now, does anyone know where I can get weathertech mats? I've been wanting to get them for a month now..

Wish this was here last week. I ordered a grill from them last tues, with est ship date for thurs. Still no email about shipping info they're getting a call as soon as I get out of class.

Don't phone an complain, be polite first, just because you saw one problem, doesn't mean there will ba a problem with yours.

I'll definitely be polite. Lots of places forget to send shipping notifications right away anyway. Being rude never helps anything.

Being polite did not work for me. Well I Called them again and told them if they dont refund my money at this very moment, I'm going go talk to my credit card
Company. The guy goes on and says "let me see
What I can do" 2 minutes later issues an actual refund. Finally, after a month of dealing with this I can go on and order my weather matts.

Saw some great stuff they had on line for placed and order for 4 items

Shipping now is more
Shipping took over a month
Items received late
Headlights - defective and missing pigtail for an amber light - offered a discout - Haven't seen it yet
Brake Lights scratched - replaced with wrong light
asked for shipping info to send back took a month
HID lights the recommend one that isn't the best
3rd brake light - this caused $1867 damage to my truck almost catching the wiring on fire. Won't cover any damges

Still dealing with these idoits - dont use this company

yeah my buddy ordered an intake for his truck from carID and it took three weeks for it to get to him. then it wasn't even the right one it was for an impreza. but they insisted it was the right one. he sent it back and then finally got the one he needed about 3 months AFTER his original purchase.

Wow, definitely wouldn't have pegged them as having such poor service just based on their website. Was considering ordering mats from them, but no more.
