EX or LX-P

My Mom was looking at the 2.

Which one?

The EX has 31K the LX-P 24K, both at the same price.

Is there any Real difference between the 2 models?

EX has dual control climate control, XM radio, and 17" alloys, off the top of my head. 190 vs 177 hp.

I would choose the EX (I have an LX-P), purely for the dual climate controls & slightly better performance - however, it's all about how your mom uses the car... My mom drives a 2006 BMW 325i... She doesn't know or care what half the buttons in that car do, throws a fit everytime she accidentally touches the iDrive, and I doubt she's ever opened the sunroof... She just loves the 6-speed manual transmission.

I love my mother

Same price? EX is all-around better equipped. The low mileage difference will not effect anything in the long run.

I thought it was only EX-L that had dual zone climate control.

The EX just has sunroof, bluetooth, and maybe some other things.

Not true, my 2011 EX has Dual-Zone climate, bluetooth and USB hookup. As well as moonroof.

The 2012s do as well.

That must be for Canada only. In the U.S., Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control System is only on the EX-L. You also get Leather Seats, Heated Seats, Power Seats, XM Radio, Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel, and Outside Temp Gauge on the EX-L.
