If you're talking the V6, good price, if it is the I4, overpriced.

Never hesitate... We found our first within driving distance a V6 coupe and told em we were interested. We waited a week and it was gone.

It took a month to find another, and we told the dealer we wanted to make a purchase but it will at least a week before we can make the drive.

He understood, and requested us to make a refundable deposit of $150.00 on our credit card.

Needless to say we showed, and saw our soon to be owned car warming up to be driven out of the lot.

Always ask for some sort of hold if your are interested. Many claim to be and become dead beats. Dealers will always jump on the 1st guy with the dough, though you must at least make an attempt if you are going to delay the deal.

Haha given my situation it just wasnt meant to me. I found out about the car last saturday mid afternoon, had to drive to PA from NJ and didnt think think I can make it on time. Closed Sunday. Then Monday after work decided to drive down, let the dealer know and he called me shortly letting me know that it was just sold.

Well I am not too disappointed. It just seemed like a good deal 20k such a car with so low miles.

The other one I know of is still available, thats cause theyre not going to get 20k for it. Polish Metallic 09 Coupe EXL Nav 42000miles CPO.

Im gunna go in and offer 16,000 for it later.

Those sharks would have sensed your eagerness and only given you a modest discount. Don't act like your that interested in the the car. Be very casual kind of like a poker game. Instead of offering any amount phrase it like this: Will you take $15k for it out the door which means after tax and fees. If the sales person balks just say well I can go to another Honda dealer and get the deal I want. Then ask where the nearest Mcdonalds is located because your hungry and want a Bigmac before heading to the next Honda dealer.

Donno, 08 - 10 V6 coupes are scarce and dealers will keep Certified or low mileage Hondas at a premium.

Now you may get away with such a haggle, if you have the cash up front. Which we did at the time.

Its been a few months over a year now since then... and there were plenty more 09 -10 Certified V6 coupes to go around then there is now.

Wife wanted an 09 only at the time, so we were very picky.

They sold it to us for $22,000 (very low mileage like new car) out the door, no additional costs along with Honda Care until 2014. $1,000 below everyone one else.

An added point, a month later our car appreciated. :o)

Non certified cars haggle to your hearts content, but money will speak louder than your words. :o)

Wave it in their face if ya have to!
