I've been averaging 31-32mpg in my daily commute to work (mostly rural roads with short highway stretch). With the 2011+ I4 Accords it really isn't hard to get numbers above 30mpg, esp if you get it on the highway and set the cruise at a reasonable speed. My best all highway trip in my 2008 was 36mpg, in my 2011 it was 43mpg. (all mpg numbers are actual hand calculated numbers, the trip computer in the navi always seems to run 1-2mpg over actual)

I have a total average MPG of 28.52 since May of 2011. Been keeping track every single fill-up since then.

Best Tank: 33.44 mpg (Most Highway around 70 mph)

Worst Tank: 22.73 mpg (Almost all city driving)

Most miles I got in one tank was 410.2 miles which was 12.37 gallons. Wow!

I have a new ( 4500 miles on it ) Accord EX-L sedan with the 4 cylinder engine. I did a 1227 mile trip this past week-end. Speed limits were 75, so I was usually running about 78
on cruise. One direction encountered a lot of wind against us and hit rush hour traffic in Denver. I averaged 32.2mpg round trip, which I thought was real good under those conditions on a new engine not yet broken in.

Well, it's EX-L, so I'd assume auto.
