Center console things?

What are these in the center console? I've read the manual and didn't see anything in there about it. I've heard people talking about ticket holders. Are these them? Tickets like speeding or movie? I don't see how that would work.

Although I do not know the correct answer, I believe if it were to be tickets, they are referring to the tickets you pick up for toll.

Hmm, never used a toll booth thing before.

Would that clip be for a pen? I'll try it tomorrow. I think I'm too short to really use this. When I open it I have to really strain to see what's going on since I'm too far forward.

They fit standard-sized credit cards so I put gift cards and whatnot in them.

Hmm, that'd be a good idea for Starbucks and stuff like that. Beats carrying them around in my wallet.

I never knew those existed. I'm gonna keep money in there. I normally keep it in that pocket area.

Good idea on the coffee/gas cards. I'd noticed those but never gave them any thought. I do hate that both console areas always open at the same time.

I believe they are ticket holders, as in parking space tickets, as in where you put the ticket you are given when you are in a pay lot that requires that you pay as you exit.
I do like the suggestion for gift cards - especially starbucks or gas cards.
In some states (like Florida, for example), if you take the tollway, you pick up a ticket when you enter the tollway and pay based on where you go (at certain checkpoints and at some exits), so this would be good for this as well.
If you go to concerts, and want to grab dinner before you go, this looks like a nice place to hide your tix as well.

If you valet your car, I would not put gift cards (Starbucks, gas, etc) under there.

I hate valet. I went to a restaurant once and went past the valet and parked myself. As I was walking to the restaurant, I watched a valet start up a beautiful Merc, put it in reverse, and floor it. The guy flew backwards down the street, slammed on the brakes, and hopped out to give the car back to a customer. Not very professional.
Plus, I knew a guy who ran a valet crew - they tend to abuse cars and use them to get food for the guys, eat in, etc.
It's my car, I paid for it, I don't want anyone I don't know and trust driving it.

I use them for my insurance card and registration I would never put money or a credit card in there

+1 as everyone suggest, it is indeed for tickets (parking lots, toll roads, etc), and for cards (Starbucks, gas cards).

Its probably for business cards, or could use for that and a space to hold a pen.
