I put my phone onto of my Ipod, which is on top of the "Not an Ashtray." It does not move around because my Ipod has a matte rubberized case. =D

While I'm sure it is handy, that looks pretty bad with your tan interior.

I think there's 3 different mounting spots for our car from Proclip. This one works pretty good? To me it seemed a bit far, but it'll be close to the audio cable if I put an iPod kit in.

That side arm does look a bit off, but I drive so I'm not worried that much about it.

i guess you're right, and i never thought about trying to match the color of the bracket to the tan interior.

If anyone is concerned about color matching the bracket they can always paint it if they want to.

I'm just giving the OP options. i saw this on someone else's car and i thought it was awesome and it turned out to be the perfect phone holder for me.

Does it affect the door opening at all?

In my pocket, in the cup holder with some paper on the bottom for stability, or in the door handle.
I tried one of those gripper units both mounted to the dash vents and a suction cup attached to the windshield. The dash vent mounts keep you from being able to adjust airflow direction and also scratched up the vent. The windshield mount had to be taken off every time I parked in public so no one would break into my car.
I learned that lesson the hard way when I left my GPS windshield mount on and removed the GPS. Came back to a car with a smashed window, all of my CD's stolen, and a missing GPS. Trust me when I say that coming back to that makes you yell a lot and generally ruins your day.

Frankly, even though this forum has a lot of very nice people, the few bad apples around here have gotten on my nerves. I simply don't care enough to log on and try and help others when all too frequently, I get mocked or made fun of.

Personally I just put mine in the door handle hole. It fits well as long as I don't make a sharp left turn, in which case it then slides under my seat :P

Can't really see in the pic, but changed out my "3G" icon for the "H" emblem

How does the phone just stay there? Is that some sort of gel-like-substance that just sticks the phone on there and holds it?

I have the proclip. It is located exactly as in the picture posted by 2006accord4. It's pricey but solid. You could go with the vent mount but they might rattle and of course they block the useful vent flow. I had one in my versa and I have no regrets about the one I have in my 2005 accord. I found the proclip design for the accord simple and I think I might be able to use it in my next car.

they'll have HUDs by the time I replace my silver surfer.
