Post the wiring info from the install sheet.

There should be at least 4 wires... Ground, 12v, Door lock switch, and Door lock actuator.

There may be another wire depending on the design.

Once you have all the info, we can tell you which wire goes where as for color and location.

I may be able to find some pix of the connectors to splice from.

so here it is, seeing the light of day after 2 years in the trunk

the instructions that came with it indicate

YELLOW – 12VDC SWITCHED IGNITION
Connect this wire to a source that only reads 12 volts when the ignition switch is on.

GREEN – DOOR LOCK SWITCH OUTPUT
Connect this wire to the output of the lock cylinder. This wire will read 5 volts until you turn the key in the lock cylinder to ‘lock.’ In the ‘lock’
position it will read ground.

NOTE: The Power Window Module must be plugged in for this wire to test correctly.

BLUE – DOOR LOCK MOTOR INPUT
Connect this wire to the wire that controls the door lock motor. This wire will read ‘open leg’ (floating/No connection) until the door is locked.
Upon receiving a lock command from either the cylinder, the door lock
button, or the key fob this wire will read 12volts for a brief period.

NOTE: The door lock motor is controlled by the body control module. Therefore the lock pulse is only about 0.3 seconds long. It is recommended to disable auto-ranging (if applicable) on your meter in order to read this pulse accurately.

RED – 12VDC CONSTANT
Connect this wire to a constant 12 volt source.

BLACK – GROUND
Connect this wire to ground.

Connectors and wires

Below are pix from a 3rd gen Accura. The connectors are very similar. Just wires are different colors.

For now, you will have to take my word for the proper color wire for the KP tech window up module connection.

All connections are tapped in with scotch locks.

Driver's Door Lock Switch Connector

The KP module's green wire should connect to the orange wire on the small connector. KP Module blue wire goes to the thicker orange wire on the door lock actuator. The connection in the picture is tapped higher and away from the connector for viewing and maintenance.

Multiplex Circuit Connectors

There are two connectors to the door multiplex module. Only the connector that has fewer wires will be used. KP Module yellow wire goes to the light green wire on the white connector. KP Module Red wire goes to the white wire on the white connector. KP Module black wire goes to the black wire on the white connector.

When wiring it would be best to use a multimeter to test the pins to the connector pins before wiring, because some wires have similar colors. Some that do, have a tracer or dotted color for indication.

Looking at the picture, the two connectors in the middle of the door are for the Multi-plex module. The far right one near the edge of the door is the lock switch, and the bottom center is the lock actuator.

The green wire that goes to the door lock switch: The door lock switch is just behind where the door handle's key lock should be. You really don't need diagram, as it is the only electrical plug near that area.

The blue wire that goes to the lock actuator: The door lock actuator is lower center from the multi-plex module in the door panel. It is by its self also.

Lol tried it right now and it actually worked! I have an 08 coupe. Are there anymore "hidden features" of the car I need to know about?

I did much earlier... No, the blue wire will not have a connection on location #8, as there is only one orange connection, and that is for the key lock switch needed for the Green wire.

The other orange connection is bottom center connector location #7 for the blue wire.

#7 is for the power window motor, which is what confuses me, since the instructions say door lock motor for the blue

Comes in handy, but when I see rain on the horizon, it sure would be a great help if I could do the same for closing the car up, instead of running outside to do it manually(or by key in door). I know aftermarket window modules can be added to acheive this, but am hoping I am missing something in the oem system...
Wait, is that remote window down feature standard? I just tried and it didn't work.

EDIT: NVM, thats awesome. Any other Easter eggs I didnt know about the EX?

The OEM visors are really flat against the car and are not noticeable at all if you have tinted windows. The Weathertechs are less so. OEM FTW.

The KP module is probably cheaper though. Just get both and then you're covered.
