I put it right on top of the coin/ashtray thing but it slides around like you said so i got one of those no slip things you put on the dash and cut it to fit on top of the ashtray. The phone will stay there probably even after you roll the car? lol (maybe) :p Try it out.

Ya, its just a sticky (non-residue). It works REALLY well and is quite strong. And when it gets dirty/dusty you just rinse it with water and its like brand new.

The phone is in my pocket. I'm not going to answer the phone while driving anyway. I see too many of those people, and how they drive, to become one of them.

I rarely, if ever (terrible service in my area, for one reason), use my phone in my car, for phone purposes. I did use it in my old car to listen to podcasts/music while driving to work. I can't do this in my Accord, yet, but I'm trying to figure out the best way and where to put my phone.

I'm thinking I might get the new USA SPEC BT35-HON so I won't have to wire it anywhere.

I have a iPhone 4 and it fits perfectly in my door handle and positioned in portrait more

It also fits perfectly in the "not an ashtray" but it's a bit awkward and sits sideways

I had my Droid mounted under the rear view mirror and worked great. Visible and easy to use. My current Razr is way too big to mount there so I have a vent mount. It's mounted sideways and does not move or rattle even during aggressive driving. I have my aux input coming out of the glove box so the phone works nicely through the radio with no need for Bluetooth. I use Pandora quite often and the location is good for reception of voice commands for navigation and dialing. The mount rattles when the phone is not in it but it comes off in a matter of seconds. I can put in other cars on the occasion I am not in my car.

I installed a Pioneer AVH3100DVD stereo in my lower pocket and ran the iphone wire from behind the "not an ashtray" and fed it under the shifter, handbrake and into the middle console. it was fairly easy and since I try not to use my cell while driving, in the console, there's 2 rows, I put it in the top one as there is a opening from the bottom pocket for the 12v outlet in there.

I have bluetooth audio and phone so I either just keep it in my pocket or in the center console charging.

I just keep my phone in my pocket or put it in the center console. I use a Bluetooth speakerphone that displays the number of the caller.

How do you like the bluetooth audio? I had a Dodge Avenger loaner car for a while with it. It seemed like a great feature, especially since I could see track information on the screen, but what I didn't like was I couldn't control it from my phone (might have been from the radio, can't remember) and when I would make a change (pause, skip, stop) there was a delay of about 2-3 seconds.

Which one did you purchase for your car? I'm assuming you have a 7th gen Accord....
