04 jetta 2.0 gl clutch problem
Do you guy's think the slave cylinder failed? The clutch peddle can't return to were it suppose to be you have to pull it off the floor. It wont move when you can get it into gear. Also it make's a grinding sound when pressing the clutch but only sometimes. We changed the master cylinder but no help. Any tips?

What do the people at the "Drive Jetta" say?
![]() Sounds like a spring is broken that pulls the pedal up.

idk I am not on the forum I left that part up to my brother. The spring is good because you have to remove the pedal assembly to change the master cylinder and it is connected to the assembly. I asked my question on here because hydraulic clutches work basically the same way with master cylinders and slave's. The spring just assist's with moving the pedal but the master should be doing the most of the work but we can not get it to hold pressure and engage the clutch. car just sit's there in gear wont move off the ramps.
