I'm surprised you won't be able to get one with the 4 cylinder though. I'd love to see a 3.5 V6 6MT Sedan!!
Yes you will. 6 speed manual is standard on 4 cylinder EX. CVT will be the automatic of the 4 cylinder.

6 speed manual available (no cost) on V6 coupe, 6 speed auto standard on V6 coupe and sedan

To my eye, the front is a direct copy of the prev gen Sonata. With Genesis rear tail lights.

To my eye the 9th gen sedan resembles the earlier 6th gen from the front end.

The prev gen Sonata is a direct copy of the old Lexus LS430.

The Genesis rear lights are derived from the LS 460 rear lights.

Hyundais before that copied other cars, especially the Elantra, which poorly (but obviously) copied Jaguar.

I don't agree!! "Prev Gen Sonata" looks like a copy of Acura RL

Yeah, Hyundai (and it's Kia group) have copied so many cars, basically all cars somehow look like them now.

I agree.. one way or the other, they've imitated design cues from another manufacturer.

The bigger question is.. how well they have executed it on their own car!

Agreed.

Automakers steal design cues from one another and there's nothing at all wrong with this practice.

Automakers are in business to sell cars and if they think stealing design cues from others will help sell their own vehicles they'd be stupid not to.

Hyundai steals from Honda.
Honda steals from Hyundai.
Honda steals from BMW.
Mercedes steals from Honda.

The list goes on.

I get the vivid impression that some forum members (not you) think that Hyundai stealing from Honda is a black mark against Hyundai whilst either not wanting to admit that Honda steals from others or not wanting to apply a black mark to Honda when Honda does the stealing.

Nah, it's just on forums and review sites all about, the only comments are, "hurr hurr, stolen from Hyundai," for just about every car, today. Only if a car is distinctly unique in every possible way, then the only comments are generally on how ugly a car is. Every once in a while, there simply are no comments whatsoever. So it's probably like my post, just posting crap simply to post something.

I guess review sites probably have no correlation to the real world, if that was the case.
