Well i must say that the last good looking accord is the 8th gen both sedan and coupe. the 2013 sedan looks almost like an old school sonata from the front, the rear is nice. the coupe just doesn't appeal to me at all. it looks like it will be up to the 8th gen for me and i'll be jumping ship after that.

Honda is copying the leader. They figure that's what customers want. Numbers don't lie.

No leadership at Honda. Honda should start planning a MMC on the 2013 Accord in 18 months. Unless that (Nissan) CVT will redefine how we drive, Honda might as well start the MMC work now.

BTW, where is the new 2013 Civic?

This looks way better than the latest pictures of the 9th generation coupe. The lights are nice, but don't like the fogs as much, unless they are showing the lower trim.

Not a fan, as others have pointed out the car has stolen queues from several other cars, the reflectors on the coupe look identical to the reflectors in the last gen legacy, the rear of the sedan looks like the rear of the genesis. This redesign did not work out for any of the honda models, doesn't look like I will have a reason to purchase a new honda for at least the next 5 years.

Well....you can wait to see how Honda will redesign the Pilot? That's the last car to be "redesigned."

Ditto...honda should of just copied bmw, we have the crosstour so no need to keep it so big. They could save it with RWD or AWD then it would seem appealing.

That's a very said statement when you look at the 8th generation and see a square boxy blandsmobile.

Honda has lost it's mojo. How many on this forum have or are looking to defect from the Honda brand?

It's very, very sad state of affairs....

News Flash!!
Honda dont know RWD.
Even the top notch MDX under Acura banner, the Sh Awd is crapy FWD with a rear assist that only kick torque to the outside wheel in a turn. NOT very impressive at all.

Honda needs to bring cars back like the s2000 with a real RWD.

I expected better. The only thing that sounds promising to me is the manual transmission available for both engines, hopefully for the sedan and coupe.

And as mentioned earlier, my first thought of the rear end was Hyundai Genesis

I never thought I'd say this, but I would get a Camry before the Accord if I were buying new today.
