as a general rule ebay lights will have poor projection patterns and can die if you look at them wrong. the price will be substantially more but a professional (or self done) retrofit is the only way to go.

Somebody did a DIY on how to make them... Yes it is cheap and they look it.

Might as well get real Halos since your opening up the fixture.

The other issue with eBay lights is the housings are more prone to melting where the bulb socket(s) is.

I had a pair of tail lights that melted after about a year. Had to throw the whole things away and get another set. Spent a little bit more from a known good source, and the most amazing thing happened, they lasted!

OK, so where to I get a reputable unit to buy? I'm really not keen about cracking open the case on the lights and would rather buy a plug and play unit. Does anybody know where to get a good set that will last for years?

Thanks,
Warrior

We recently had a customer install Accord Projector Headlights along with a XenonDepot HID kit. Here are some pictures:

The only ones you can go for as of right now is buy a retrofitted headlight that someone is willing to sell, or buy the headlight from Anzo. the one in the pictures above me are the Anzo USA headlight for the sedan
