Welcome! What do you mean by this: "replacing grille w/ gloss black/chrome Spec-D option".

I black plasti-dipped the chrome on the grille of my 11 coupe but want to know what "Spec-D" is and what it looks like.

Those chrome door handle covers matches well with the PMM. Do you just stick them on with double sided tape? How much did you get them for?

Very nice looking car!

why did you decide to go with the chrome handle covers? can we not get those chrome handles from the v6 model spares? or that too expensive?

anyways; which brand of covers did you get? do you think it will last from rain and auto car washes?

I looked at amazon and this is the cheapest I found with free shipping:

I'm thinking of purchasing it; but I'm not sure of the quality.

Hey guys ... $19.99 ... eBay ... Seller: "top_one_ware"
Free shipping, showed in like 2 days ...

The ABS "triple chrome plating" feels pretty (cool to the touch)
And there are stripes of 3M automotive tape on the back.

I havent seen REAL CHROME since my old Lincoln Town Car and its 160# grille.

This plastic, chrome overlay laminate is - imo - what the rest of the trim on our car is.

And @ V6 handles, you can buy them online or from dealer for around $30,
But you then have to open up the door panel to install ...

It's not worth it to risk damage on a 5 day old car, lol

Hmm... your right. If it easily peels off in a matter of a month or two; then I should consider the v6 handle replacement.
