Need Helpp

Ok so I bought a couple of magnaflow #14832 mufflers and everyone is telling me its going to cost an arm an a leg to install...does anyone have pictures of their install so I could see why this would cost a lot? This would be really helpful, thanks.

They don't cost much at all to install, all they do is cut off the OEM ones and weld/mount these in its place. I think mine cost me around $100, I ended up doing custom piping so it cost more, but if you're just gonna change the mufflers it shouldn't be that much.

My shop is on the pricey side and it was $200. I'd expect to pay no more than that since these are universals and actually very easy to weld and hang.

yeah I wouldn't expect it to be to much just everyone's been telling me that it is lol...i took it to a shop today and they said they couldn't do it because the inlet was in the middle of the muffler instead of the side...they told me to go buy a bent pipe so they could install it...i was pissed lol

Yeah a few other people have had the issue you're facing with some shops. Just take it somewhere else, any compitent place will make it work easily.

would you think a general muffler shop would do it? Or do I have to take it to like a custom shop?
