wheels 20 x 8.5 45 offset
tires 245/35R20
Could be the lighting but it looks like the rears are up a half inch from the fronts.

I like your setup but I think the black of the wheels would cause them to get lost on a black car.

If you dropped the splash guards I think it'd clean the car up a lot more!

Hey Doom, beautiful ride. What are the rims in the first pic?

EDIT: Think I found it from a later post, TRW Vortex?

TSW Vortex hypersilver 19"

Decent rims but I like their Rivages better. Ultimately the transparency and depth of the Vossens and their cleaner lines sold me on them.

Many of the Vossens, including CV3, are in 19" now.

It's all about preference , you can fit 19's or 20's very nicely depending on the offsets and tires you choose. If your looking for ride quality comfort specially on bad roads look more into the tire profile, the higher the more cushion you'll have.

Thanks! I like the thicker spokes just a bit better but just my taste. Reminds me of some of the older rims from my street rods days. =) I just found your blog, great documentation. I'll be reading over your mods. I just picked up my 2012 coupe a few days ago and trying to get a plan together for what I want to do.

These threads are a lot of help. Trying to figure out a lot of the same stuff.

19" vs 20" gave me essentially the same ride quality running my tire pressures at 34-36 psi. Just make sure you get decent wheels that can withstand (or at least warranty against) the occasional unavoidable bumps.

The ONLY time I wished I still ran 19s was last weekend when the interstate had uneven pavement lanes, and being in the lower one that was ending in 100 yards I had a problem - the height difference was greater than my sidewall. I ended up needing to come to a stop and enter the higher pavement lane as head on as possible when traffic let up. Eek.
that right there has convinced me to get 19 our roads sound like your one time incident, I can't have that on my daily

Yeah this is only a feasible option for those who don't rotate sets seasonally.
