Your wheels came out amazing! Great job! How many cans should I use on my four rims? And you can find this stuff at Loews home depot. Only 6$/can. Custom comes you can order on amazon.com & they also have gloss finishes for people that aren't into the matte look.

It seems that a very very light coat works the best. That's how it came out so smooth. I did two light coats and called it a day.

Just plasti dipped some wheels just to see how it went. Started out smooth but then towards the end I slacked a little. Looks good though.

So I had some extra time since my second class today was cancelled. So I did this in about an hour.

Quick trial run not much attention to detail. (getting rid of these rims soon)

Not sure about the black. I'm thinking gunmetal would look better but

Before and after

It does make it look completely different. It's growing on me now though I love it.

And those wheels are 17" and soon to be up for sale cough cough

I did the chrome strip on my front grille yesterday. Because I didn't bother to go inside and get the exacto knife beforehand, I screwed up a coupe spots when I took the painter's tape off. Still, it looks SO MUCH better blacked out than chrome. I'll touch up the spots I mussed.
