As the above person mentioned the Sport model is a more bang for your buck model, it not only attracts the younger buyers but it also attracts the low budget older buyers away from other brands. It's like Honda's version of the Camry SE and the Hyundai Sonata SE equiped with popular equipment package. So it's nothing innovative, Honda has to compete and so they are.

As far as dual exhausts on Sport and not on the EXL, makes no sense to me. But then again, if I want a Camry SE exterior with leather interior like the XLE I can't have that either. So your options are going to be to hope that the dual exhaust from the Sport have the same flange sizes and diameter piping and then it should just be bolt on to the EXL. For a Camry buyer, you would have to buy an XLE and replace the entire front end and rear before you have a SE look. So every midsize car has its drawbacks in terms of options offered versus options preferred.
