Oh I would gladly remove it, it's black anyhow, so barely noticeable. What did you use to remove it safely without scratching the paint? If you started it with a finger nail, would it just peel off?

Update: My GTA iPhone Aux adapter just shipped! Estimated arrival is Tuesday Can't wait to have my playlists back, even though I have really been enjoying the AM/FM/XM/6 CD haha

^This.

The tape will come off but the glue will still be there. The rubber wheel I used will "scratch/haze" the paint, but my PC removed the haziness.

wow after seeing those pics I really need to paint match my side skirts...it looks so much cleaner like that. Two weeks is worth the wait. My fogs are spec-D too and are absolutely perfect. The only thing wrong is washing the car the other day I noticed that my drivers side lense has a rock chip/spider on it

Build thread? LOL

Yes, as sodak said, Spec-D Tuning is selling their fog kit for $50.95 + Free S/H. If you sign up and are approved for the Amazon CC, you instantly get a $50 GC into your account, hence my paying $0.95 shipped

Keith, your skirts aren't color matched? Are they aftermarket or is that how the sedans came from Honda? Seems a little odd...what color are they?

I agree regarding the wait of 2 weeks - for how busy I am weeks are flying by anyhow so they'll be installed before you know it.

Sorry to hear about your rock chip, I heard even the OEM fogs are notorious for that but the good news is, you can easily replace both by utilizing the eBay lamps/mounts for say 30 bucks whereas the replacement OEM are around $90/piece!

Yeah I looked up the replacement and I couldn't believe how much they run. I'm actually thinking about getting some smoked/tinted lenses. Orrrr maybe some inspires. Don't know yet.

And no my skirts are black. I have an LX and they are not color matched unfortunately but they look on pics and from a distance like they are but they aren't.

Personally, I would go with Inspires or keep what you have. Unless you want your fogs useless and only for show conditions, do not tint them. Fogs were designed to be used in inclement weather conditions to better aid the driver of seeing the sides of the roads (paint/line markings) and what is directly in front of the vehicle when visibility is compromised (snow, dense fog, etc.) I rarely ever run fog lamps unless I need them. I know most choose to run them as a DRL, but I already have those, which are mounted higher on the vehicle, thus better catching the other driver's eye and doing their job

You might as well be one of these drivers who run 6000K-10,000K kits in their fogs b/c it "looks cool." lol The PnP HID kits may appear to be brighter, more intense light, which one would think "Yay, more light = better visibility!" However, scientifically speaking, it is quite the opposite. The human eye is more sensitive to the blues/purples of the color spectrum than the opposite side of the array (reds/oranges/yellow), causing the eyes to strain more (subconsciously, of course) as when kelvins increase, usable lumens and visibility decrease. Not to mention HID (high intensity discharge) bulbs have a completely different arc and light output than a halogen bulb, thus the requirement to be projected (aka focused) at a particular point...which is the reason why HID projectors and Halogen projectors do not work in the same manner - they are designed to focus the beam of light (aka hot spot) for their own specific type of lighting.

So for best visibility and use out of fog lamps, a clear lens halogen bulb (roughly 3,800-4,100K) in a reflector housed fog or a 3,000K/4,300K OEM HID bulb in a retrofitted/OEM HID projector fog is optimal.

Sorry if I come off as yelling - I'm not - I just take the opportunity to teach when I can haha Hopefully someone will find it useful...

LOL At the yelling comment. I'm not sure how you got off on the HID fog thing but I'm not going to put an HID bulb in a halogen housing... actually planning on getting the nokya 2500k halogen or the 3000k.

The tinted lense was wanted just because I kind of had an idea of what i wanted the car to look like and because I am debating whether or not to spend another $100 just for the "Inspire" look. the only thing is I've read that the inspire fogs don't put out better than the regular USDM honda fogs....

Oh, no, I wasn't implying you were planning on putting an HID bulb in there lol I've been up since 1:15am (now 7pm) so I started thinking "oh no, don't decrease your visibility by tinting your fogs" and in my tired state, I got to thinking about these folks who do - so I guess the information just started pouring out haha

Anyhow, if the Inspire fogs don't increase your usability and only have "looks" as a Pro, I would probably save the $100 to your mod fund and just replace the broken one w/ the cheaper eBay fogs and call it a day after buying the Nokyas. With the higher wattage (I believe the Nokya are rated at 75W or so?) you definitely wouldn't be disappointed. Just be sure to purchase their adapters so you don't fry your harness!

Really? they are rated at 75w? The stage 1's I am considering say that they are 55w. I'm gonna do some more research on the inspire output and see what I can find

I guess it wouldn't hurt to get their adapters just in case though. And I understand the tired rant lol been up since 3am and have already driven over 500miles today. Gotta love college internships.

And I just realized I'm destroying your thread....my apologees...i am ashamed

P.S. GO TO SLEEP

LOL no apologies needed, Keith Gosh, I hope that internship is paid! When I interned for FedEx I was making bookoo bucks. The Nokyas may come in 55w but I believe you can also get them in 75w. I remembered considering them years ago way before I knew anything about lighting (HID/LED/Halogen/etc.) and remember folks complaining about frying their OEM harnesses because of such the high wattage. Then Nokya came out with their harness adapters to help solve the issue...

oh it's paid alright....paid in pain and hours toward that degree. lol Ufortunately there is no monetary income from this internship. I wish! I heard that FedEx, UPS, and Google are some of the top rated companies as to how they take care of their employees.

Thankfully I am a paid tutor for the Athletic Department here at RSU, or else I'd be screwed.

I need to pick me up some of those "Share a Fuse" adapters. I've just been tapping into open circuits lol Since mine is a LX it has plenty open.

Alright, GTA iPhone/iPod AUX kit got delivered today Should have time tomorrow to install

Includes 3.5mm AUX Jack, iPod/iPhone cable for charging while playing, and a micro bluetooth:

Also arrived today was my Honda half-size front license plate. In the state of PA we don't require front license plates, however, IL where I bought the car does. So, I had to come up with something, as I didn't want to sport just a black plastic license plate bracket... It's dark out, so kind of hard to see right now, but I'm not sure if I'm feeling the "double Honda" symbols...I'll have to see in the daylight. What y'all think? The other route I was thinking was getting a black plate that says "Accord" across it...

Before w/ black bracket:

After:
