Forward collision and lane departure warnings need to be louder. My hearing is excellent btw.

If you are alert, you'll hear the warnings- but if you're alert you'll not likely drift or run up on something.
If sleepy (not sleep) or tired, you may never hear the warnings especially if the music is on.

Audio should be muted for these warnings or at least driver selectable for mute.

regarding the audio issues when paired via pandora / bluetooth, has anyone reported this to the dealership yet and have they found a solution to it? i know some of you guys have reported problems but have any went to get it checked out? i know sometimes the fault lies in pandora seeing that their app is full of more glitches then microsoft software.

I am not so sure that it will show the album art from USB thumb or hard drives, I believe that it is only from the iPod, if anyone has album art from USB thumb drives let me know. Also, what is very impressive is the fact that the album art shows on both screens, now all I need is a scrolling song name since it won't show the entire name on either screen if it is too long.

Forgive me if this was mentioned before, didn't go through all the pages.

Can hill start assist be disabled? I'd like to drive a MT the old way. I don't want the computer to press the brakes for me.

I'd like the usb connection to be in the glove box. In our 2011 Odyssey, I leave my iPod Touch locked in the glove box full time. I can see how some people would just plug in at the console though.

BTW, for those who have a '13, can you select a song under album an dthen start playing it and part way through the song hit the "go back" button to get back to the album with the songs listed to pick another? In our 2011 Odyssey, if you try to go back within a few seconds of starting the song you can, but after that, you need to press the select button and start navigating from the start all over again (pretty annoying).

I dunno

Maybe, but from past dealings with companies that supposedly take complaints or check out forumn, it seems they do what the masses want, but never do what they should do , which is do things right.

The companies think they'll make more money by pleasing everyone n giving them a crappy product, when in actuality its about making a quality product that everyone will buy without thinking.

Our last hope is with Asian Car manufacturers, but I sense little by little that corporate american business practices are ruining it slowly by cutting costs n quality.

Go to the local Cost Co, try to find pizza max packs in more then just pepperoni or plain cheese flavors, the Masses of Morons seem to only buy plain pepperoni or plain cheese pizzas still? Apparently the retards still do buy these pointless flavors the adult children never grew out of.

See even for food they create a generalized standard of what they think, or maybe in actuality what the brainless lemming zombie humans will buy I dunno.

Check out Home Depot, the same bloody colors for everything, White, White White, I'm sick of white, so lets choose a next color, and then you're outta the closet with all the pretty pastels, and brown WTF would put brown anything in their house, unless it was natural wood, and you'd be a fool to paint that wouldnt you think?

Maybe its just me, but I've noticed my cup of tea isnt anywhere near anyone elses cup of tea. But I have noticed that they seem to bulk market items to the bulk of america, which is why you only get the standard few choices with anything.

I really hope Honda steps up their game n starts reducing the size of their cars back to what they were in the 90's but with good engines n quality products. I recently got a 09 Accord v6 with brake problems only on the steep downhills or downhill at a certain speed.

It has been 3 years supposedly since this was discovered 2-3 years since the suit was filed n finished, with apparently no satisfied consumers. I know one thing for sure when I take my car in to have the brakes permanently fixed, FOR FREE, the moment the dealer or repair guy of honda's or whoever I deal with, if he says no, He's gonna have another BREAK that will need fixing.

you know I still have my 1997 Civix ex, as far as i can tell it runs fine but you get the feeling like its on the verge of collapse n dread bringin it to a repair shop
however at 105000 miles, I've replaced the brakes once i think, besides that I've only had one battery problem, and tires problems something to do with cambers or lack there of cause the last guy had it lowered n apparently it was made for the other rims with low profiles.

So if those are my only issues with a car in 50k+ miles in a 10+ year period, then I can live with it, I can only hope my accord has the same amount or less

Your avatar is really disturbing KING =P

POI Downloads

Allow over 2000 download POIs in the Navi system. Many single POI files on the web at places like http://www.poi-factory.com/ have over 2000 entries in each file. The file size is small and will take little space on the HDD. It should not overload the Nav computer because POI files are only accessed when requested in the Nav Menu.

Anyone who needs software to encode art into the mp3 files, as well as set tags, etc, look up the program MP3tag. I use it religiously.

I've figured out with my iPhone when connecting it by USB that if you're already playing Pandora through the bluetooth, you must exit the application before connect it. Bloody annoying to say the least but I've gotten the hang of it.

It won't scroll safely on my EX-L!
There is no way to safely scroll through long lists. This is true for XM, phone book, and especially USB Music. It scans for folders containing mp3 files and lists these. The enclosing artist folders are ignored. I have 4000 albums. One scroll of the far knob goes 1 album! This is a safety hazard. I called Honda and they agreed, but offered no solution.

This is a bummer!

You could buy an iPod and used the voice commands for selecting specific music, trust me, it is the only way I navigate through music while driving and it works surprisingly well.

Hmm, in my 05 300C I had to burn MP3 discs as a "data" file and it read as folders. Regular MP3s had all songs with no way to safely navigatd. Don't know how that helps with USB based MP3s.

Honda should definitely do something about louder warnings. What's the use of safety warnings if you can't hear them? Good catch here.
