New to the forum
I'm new to the forum because I just picked up an 2004 Accord Sedan EX-L 4cyl.
I've always loved Honda's, this is my 6th one. My all time favorite would have to be the 2004 TL I had (sold it to be debt free when I got married). But before that was my pride and joy 1991 Accord LX Sedan, she was swapped, dropped, and well loved! I sure miss her.. My 91 was swapped with an F23A, F22B intake mani, converted to OBD1 tuned with Crome. This is a very rare swap into the CB7 but I did it because I was planning on building a stroked G23 hybrid (F23 bottom end with H22 head), but sold the car unfortunately... The 04 I just picked up is pretty clean, has tint and some ugly ebay head lights, but not bad for $5500! My plans are to clean her up a bit then drive her to the ground. |

Welcome. How many miles were on it when you purchased it?

Welcome to the forum! $5500 is a great price for an '04, but what is the mileage on it? And I suggest you change those eBay headlights. Do they have projectors?
1. eBay headlights with projectors are usually bad quality and does not reflect light well 2. IMO, they don't look too nice, looks a bit like a Civic headlight. |

Yeah, I'm going to do a retrofit on the OEM headlights which thankfully they gave me when I bought the car. I upgraded the HID's to DDMtuning's 55w 5000k kit, but the spread on these ebay projectors is complete crap. Looking to remove the OEM navigation and install an iPad or Nexus 7. Already got the navi torn out and I'm figuring out how to wire the boards behind everything to maintain climate control (such a pain in the butt...). Installed a Pioneer DEH-80PRS and ran 0gauge wire this weekend. I'm thinking I should start a build thread for her. Where do those usually go? Within the generation threads? |
