I've been a member for a while and this place was instrumental in helping me rebuild my 85 Accord Sedan a while back. (Thanks again Princess for all your help!)
I've since sold the sedan but only after buying an 85 Accord 3dr hatch to rob parts off of. I have just about everything but the body, windshield, and seats from the parts car left over sitting around taking up space. Beings that this place was so good to me, I'd like to post the items for sale on here.
I'm not looking to make $, only to break even. Since I'm willing to let the parts go for cheap, and I mean CHEAP, I figured this would be the best place to help others out. Thing is.......since I have so many parts, how am I supposed to take a pic of everything with the required paper in the pic? I've been meaning to post this stuff on here for months but this requirement has kept me from it. Any suggestions to keep me from having to take a pic to post of every single part?

Craigslist and Ebay I can do but I would prefer to "pay it forward" so to speak and keep it here.

I've been fairly active, and when I hit 30 days I'll offer up the stock parts I removed to get my many mods on. Except for the stock intake, never know when you may need that for legal reasons.

I even highlighted the reasons in the two PM's I sent you. It's not my fault you didn't read what I wrote to you.

This rule is a stupid one. Point blank. This is my first Accord. Coming from three previous BMW's and never had to deal with a rule like this on any of those forums. I have a 2013. I don't see why i have to post unnecessary stuff just be able to do so. My car is new. I don't have any complaints or questions as of now so what the hell am i supposed to post? JIbberish? Lift the rule. It's stupid.

Every forum has different rules and operate in different ways. These are our rules. It's easy for you to say "lift the rule" when you're new here and aren't even paying the bills.

If you can't meet the rules, there are plenty of other options out there for you at your disposal (i.e. eBay, Craigslist).

The rules are very easy to meet. Some might say too easy. It's not like we require:

- a 100 post requirement
- members to "vouch" for you before being eligible to sell (ClubLexus)
- you to have "31+ viable posts and be a member for at least 45 days" (8thCivic)
- you to "have 20 posts or have been a member for 6 months in order to sell items" (OdyClub)
- a 90 day membership, 500 posts, or a paid subscription to either Premier Membership or Sponsorship/Vendorship (my350z)
- Moderator review and approval before "any thread that is created in the Marketplace is visible" (TSXclub)
- a 45 day membership AND 100 posts or paid subscription (myG37 and G35Driver)

And FYI, posting "unnecessary stuff" just to meet the minimum requirements isn't going to cut it either.

i dont get it, whats so hard about following a few simple rules. when you are in their house you follow their rules. its as simple as that.

With the rules in place I feel safe if I ever purchase something off the classifieds. Your not going to have some guy just posting something which could possibly be a scam. Also with all the rules with the description I get all the info up front and not having to ask a million questions and sending pm's back and forth all day.

It was probably deleted because you don't have enough qualifying posts on here. The requirement is already low enough. A date stamp is entirely different than a shipping label and not acceptable.

The kids continue to not read the rules and plague this site......I remain amazed at the total ineptitude of these people and then they have the nerve to bitch about it. Some things never change when you're dealing with children. I've been here long enough to remember the poor folks that got ripped off by scammers which was the reason these rules were put into effect. Since then I know of no one that got taken. Follow the classified rules or go cry to your Mama when your post is deleted.
