What older Accord 15" OEM alloy wheels will fit 7th-gen Accords?
I'm looking for suggestions on what kind of OEM wheels to consider.
Are there older Accord 15" OEM alloy wheels that will fit on my new Accord? 5x114 bolt pattern... 15" x 6.5" How do you think they'd look on a 7th-gen Accord? Thanks.

The only ones that would fit are the 6th gen V6, and ONLY the V6. Look into Acura, they have some NICE OEM wheels, especially from cars like the TSX, RSX, TL-S, etc. I wouldn't put any older OEM wheels onto a newer Accord, because even though the wheel would be able to handle it, it probably wouldn't look as good. Also don't forget that Honda had accessory wheels for the V6 as well. Check out http://www.handa-accessories.com/accext01.html

If you look closely you can see some of those wheels are 4 lug and some are 5. I believe all Honda 5 lug wheels are 5x114.3, at least the ones on that page are.

Yeah, I saw that some of them are 5-lug.
I think those are the ones I was asking about. At any rate, whatever I get right now has to fit the OEM tires... because they're good tires... and I want to use them until they're worn out. 205/65-15

That limits you to very few wheels. Ever think about going aftermarket? Or you can always buy wheels from other cars, many 5 lug imports should fit except for offset. If you go aftermarket, the integrity of the wheel will be significantly reduced (OEM wheels are built extremely strong) but it will still be safe.

Yeah, there are a couple on TireRack that I like...
We'll see. This 15" wheel... which I believe is included in the LX Convenience Package (or something like that) I might get.

Looks decent. Any 15" alloy on a 7th gen is going to look kind of small. Actually...to my (young mod-crazy) mind, anything below an 18" on the new Accord looks pretty small lol. But I understand your tire situation, I was pretty much going thru the same thing but decided just to save the money and maybe just do it later with a bigger wheel or something.

I don't think the 15's on my car look small... but I think that has more to do with the tire too.
My first Intrepid had 205/70-15's... which are higher-profile tires... and that made the rims look small. With the 65's, though, I don't think it does. If I do decide to wait until the OEM tires are worn out, I'd like to get a set of EX wheels... the ones found on the 4-cyl. EX's. Those would be nice.

Yeah those 4 cyl EX rims look nice, too bad they're 16's. You know what though, a lot of people are putting aftermarket wheels on really early, even the dealers. What you could do is just buy a set of take-off wheels and tires, they should be cheap. If you're paying more than like $400 for the set of 4, then it's too expensive. Just know wheels depreciate quick
You could use your old set as a winter wheel/tire combo if the snow is not too bad up there (or if it even exists). Or else you could use it to mount snow tires and sell the current ones to a tire shop or whatever, or use it for long trips, or maybe that occasional drag strip run ![]() The only thing about the take-offs are that right now they might be a tad bit rare. If you wait maybe like another year or two they might become more common, but then they'll drop signicantly and really soon right after the new Accord comes out (if it does).

Well, I want my car to look as "stock" as it can and, as such, I'll be sticking to either the 15" alloys in the above picture or just wait a while and get a set of 4-cyl EX alloys and new tires.
I know there are OEM 17" alloys.... but 17" alloys = expensive... not to mention the tires aren't cheap either.

In my opinion, id go with nothing smaller than a 17 inch wheel. Aftermarket is your best bet! OEM is expensive because the dealer jacks up the price 45% for retail. I used to work at a Honda dealer and thats what they do.
There are alot of aftermarket wheels you can get in a 17,18, and 19 that will fit your car perfectly. All the prices will range between $1,000+ depending on brand and size. Good luck! ![]() Heres a number to call if you are interested!(847)568-5555 My friend owns this place, and he'll definitely get you a great price! The name of the store is Drivers Image in Skokie Illinois. The owners name is Gregg! If he's not around ask for Mike. They do not ship, so you would have to p/u. |

$1000+ just for wheels? Then I gotta buy tires for rims that size? No thanks.
The 16" OEM rims from the EX or the EX V6 are what I'll probably end up getting. Thanks anyway.
