Angry My car got egged!

My dad woke me up this morning to have me move my car out of the driveway. When I go to get into my car, I notice this clear, crystallized substance all over the door. Upon closer inspection, I saw a tiny little bit of egg shell. Some !@#$ egged my car last night!

I immediately washed my car. I applied some Klasse sealant glaze over the scratches. I'll take some pictures after I buff it out.

This really pisses me off! Why was my car egged? Because it was there! It was parked in front of my girlfriend's house last night, and I could tell it was a drive-by egging because of the angle of the egg on my car.

I'm taking it as a lesson in faith. Jesus said to store our treasures in heaven where moth and rust can't harm it and thieves can't break in and steal. This is exactly why. I would have KILLED whoever did this if I saw them do it. And it's not worth it to kill over material possessions.

Wow...sorry man...

Maybe someone else likes your girlfriend

Not acceptable....and I am with you....those guys should be glad you weren't around....I'd plead temporary insanity when I was done with them.

I still love this place.

pictures

Here are a couple of pics of the scratches the egg left on my car. This after I applied the Klasse. Looks grim.

And while I'm at it, here are some pictures of my whole car!

That ****s, I would surely beat the snot out of anyone who did that to my car. I hate most that it is generally men/boys who do this, but vandalism, especially car related, clearly violates the man-law. I'd rather be ****er punched than have my car vandalized or broken into.

I wasn't the only one to get hit. When I picked up my girlfriend today I saw her neighbor's truck parked out on the street looked like it got hit even worse than my car. Black paint, too. That ****s.

Some things are pranks, like toilet paper on the lawn. Other things are vandalism, like eggs on cars. I agree, chanke. This is a clear violation of man-law.

We had/have a poster in the detailing forum, MotorCityHonda who apparently knows much about exterior care. Might be worth giving him a ping for ideas on the scratch issue.

I think it was just random. I saw other vehicles on the street with egg on them, too. They drove down the street throwing eggs at cars parked on the street I think.

I'm trying to figure out how you got scratches like you did from the egg. Typically, when you get egged, the biggest issue is the abuse the paint takes from the egg contents, and not scratching from the shell. For that sort of scratch to be on there, it must have been shot from a bazooka!!!

Just buff over it with a random orbital buffer and it'll be as good as you can get it. IMHO, not worth doing much more than that - because the fix might be worse than the problem.....

That's why I say they were in a car throwing them. They must have been going pretty fast, and the egg was splattered across my car at an angle as if thrown while moving. When an object is thrown from a moving vehicle, it is moving at least as fast as the vehicle. Imagine an egg moving at least 40mph, plus the force of the person's throw. That is why the egg shell scratched the paint.

Now if the egg were splattered in a circle and dripping downward, then I would say they were on foot. But the evidence shows that they were in a moving vehicle.

Here's an illustration. The pics I posted above are on the driver's door looking toward the front of the car. You can kinda see the anlge that the egg hit at by the scratches.

My '96 got egged while I was away for 10 days one summer, and to this day I can not get the yolk (I guess it's the yolk, its yellow) off. It must have baked in the sun. I second the notion to clean it up quick.
