I am not sure of what brand is on mine (it was there when I purchased it), but my navigation system works perfectly. What issues are you having with it?

You might have problems getting a GPS signal if you get metallic tint. I have Formula One ceramic tint on my 2006 w/Nav.

Isn't the navi antenna on the roof?

No, that's the XM antenna. I believe the navi is in the rear window. Metallic tints can interfere with it, from what I hear. The remedy for this is ceramic tint, like cforez stated.

No, it's under the rear deck shelf between the rear speakers.

If it's "in" the rear window then it wouldn't matter since the metalic tint would be under the antenna and therefore not block the reception of GPS signals.
