LED H11 Fog Light Bulbs...

...are NOT worth the trouble. Since this was a CHEAP experiment, I decided to try it. I do remember someone posting about installing LED fogs & bragging about how much brighter the LED would be. I argued that fact, but decided to prove instead of debating the subject.

I didn't get a chance to park outside of the driveway, but I think the pictures are CLEARLY evident that LED bulbs ARE NOT an upgrade... not even compared to bland halogen bulbs. They're just for show purposes. I prefer performance.

I did too. But for the price, it was a cheap experiment to PROVE that crap to be a dud. So, if someone posts in the future on how great they are... attach the link to this thread.

the subject WAS discussed, and i clearly stated that they are SHOW ONLY lights... ...they do nothing but light up the foglight!!!
i can't even image how poorly the eBay versions were... i used PIAA LEDS and they're pretty bright (IN THE HOUSING)... hahaha!!!
my HID headlights are brighter than the stock fogs, so the fogs are "fairly" useless to me...

here's the post in question:

LED for show only aside, Fog lights aren't supposed to be bright.

bright enough to illuminate road markers, yes. LEDs don't even do that in clear situations. I surely wouldn't use them in foggy conditions. Are you serious?

i like how it says, "show bulb"... i can't imagine those looking very good with the 3 leds mounted on the front of the bulb... i'm picturing 3 dots in the middle of a spotted foglight, hahaha...
