How to turn off the maintenance light?

How would you do that? Mine is turned on... I took it into the dealership and they told me that once the car hits around 30,000 the maintenance light turns on.

30,000 miles? You'd better start finding a new dealership!

On page 62 of your Owner's Manual (you do have one, yes?), it states that from 8,000 to 10,000 miles, the indicator will light for 2 seconds every time you turn the key to ON, and then flash for 10 seconds.

After 10,000 miles without the light being resetted, the light will remain on as a constant reminder.

You have to wonder where your dealership got the 30,000 miles interval from..........

Probably an uninformed service advisor who is thinking about one of their 30k mile service packages that all dealers seem to conjure up.

It's time to check the air filter, level of fluids, change the brake fluid if its never been changed, and drain/refill the AT fluid w new Honda fluid.
