Aero Kits

Hey guys i still have mixed feelings about the 08 aero kit. but was wondering what would be the best place to get it, the whole thing.

I saw some posts on collegehills honda and then there is ebay. of course the dealer but that's going to be the steepest price. i kinda think most of you who have it got it from the dealer when they bought the car right?

Correct, I bought mine with the car so it factored into the finance price. Price on parts was competitive, but not the cheapest. But labor and parts are guaranteed, so I also bought some peace of mind.

BTW, it makes the car look about 10x sleeker IMO.

Wow, that aforementioned price of $985 is awesome as it comes color-matched/pre-painted! Usually, nothing comes close to OEM fitment, and the material/composition of the parts will be much better than after-market FRP.

For reference... to color-match (1) front-lip, (2) side-skirt/rocker-panels, (1) rear-bumper skirt/side-spats, it's not unheard of to spend $500-$750 for a high-quality job (prep', primer, OEM color-match paint, clear-coat, polish/buff). . .

The color doesnt match PERFECTLY though. In the right light one can differentiate between the two colours as one is plastic and the other one painted on metal. The day I got the car I bitched, then I realized no-one is even noticing, and thats when I started getting the b-i-t-c-h-e-s. Not literally, but I like this play on words
