Does anybody have this tires on their Accord? If you do, how does it perform? Thinking about getting one for the summer.

Avon tyres

From the reviews of buyers at Tire rack, seems to be a good tires.
We do get shipments from UK from them but they are all Racing Tires , I have not seen any of the street tires, yet.
Maybe I'll sink the money & try these out.

I remember their ad saying that they have been making tires in the UK for quite a while. Also, they make racing slicks that was spec for some racing series. So it can't be that bad?

They export a lot of different racing tires to the US market. We just took in a shipment tonight for formula 3 type cars. I talked to the broker & she'll sent me a set for my accord by next month, FREE

Kumho Ecsta MX tires on '03 Accord EX-L?

Has anyone tried this tire and if so, what has been your experience both in driveability and tread wear?

rick.,

it may be better starting your own thread for your topic..... just friendly advice....

ummm, i didn't buy the ecsta's, i did get the touring 712's (about $225 OTD).... they seem to wear pretty well, but i only bought them two weeks ago, so, the jury's still out..... rain traction is pretty good (avg-good)

i have the avon as 550s and i love them. they are great sticky rubber, couldnt tell you about tread wear since ive only put 1200 miles on them. great sticky tire in wet and dry though, a little on the heavy side though 2lbs more than the oem michelins.

have the 550 all seasons on my 02 coupe and love them so far. have 18's and they feel better and smoother than the oem fatter sidewalls i had on my oem 15's. great in dry / wet. waiting for the snow. i am trusting that the treadwear will be good based on the tirerack review.

I have the high performance ones on my G35 coupe and have put about 1000 miles on them so far. I also bought them through tirerack. I am very pleased. They are quiet, but also provide excellent handling and a nice ride. I obviously can't speak about how they will wear. Excellent price!
