Polished Metal Metallic Owners - Actual color

Hi i was browsing through the site for the Polish Metal Metallic cause i am considering this color
I came through these pictures (hope the owner doesnt mind me posting)
Is the actual true color this dull? looks really light and dull
is it just the camera? i expect it to be more metallic and shinny dark grey like pic #3

Thanks

no, its the conditions in that picture that make it look dull.
theres no direct lighting, its pretty muggy out, and it looks like the car got a "rain wash" instead of a wash with soap and wax. but the wheels and paint are alot shinier in person.

The best possible way for you is to see the car physically. The 3rd picture looks like that due to the lighting. The contrast and a ton of reflection fooled your eyes. I would drive to the lot and look at the cars while they all sit in a row and pick out the color that caught your eyes most.

I was parked next to a pmm sedan, like mine. But, the the color was much lighter, at least 5-10%. It looked rather drab in comparison. What gives? Are there different color codes? or can it vary that much? btw theres was a lx , mine is an ex, if it matters.

I don't have a picture of my car but I'll say this about the color.

It's looks awesome in direct light and is not dull at all. It has the nice metallic flakes that really make it shine. I also think the color varies a lot depending on the light and how clean the car is. The car will look very dull if not clean up close but from far it's not as apparent.

Just remember, paint will often look totally different under varying light conditions.

it's the lighting... the color PMM looks the worst at sun up & sun down.... kinda like how Belize Blue Pearl looks straight purple in certain lights.

I personally think PMM is the best color on the 8th gen accords.... it looks best when clean & when it's really sunny or raining...the cloudy/sun up/sun down it can look like that first set of pics you posted.

the metallic flakes in PMM REALLY sparkle in the sun.

PMM is a really nice color. Very striking in certain light. I've seen it look deep and wet but under cloudy skies it can look flat.
