window chrome trim question

i recently purchased a 2005 honda accord ex 2dr/4-cylinder (black) and im wondering how i could add chrome trim around the passenger windows

any help is appreciated

I assume if you have a 2 door and your talking about the door windows (passenger windows)? Where on the door are you talking about? Have you tried an accessory shop that specializes in trim and tint or a Honda dealer? Have you seen this on another Honda car?

well im talking about the chrome thats goes around the window in your avatar pic but yes i only have 2 doors and the reason im asking is because theres a black film around it that is peeling/cracking away (i live in vegas so heat is brutal on a car) and under it seems to be bright steel/chrome looking metal so im wondering if its safe to just peel away

Might stop by the dealer and ask them because I am not that famailiar with non chrome models or even if there is such a thing. Sounds like someone might have painted it? If it is painted, you could probably peal/sand/steelwool and repaint it with a little work. Look under the door parts section for your car under this website to see if you can find it. I believe all 7th gen coupes don't have chrome around the windows. All sedans do have chrome trim with the exception of the DX/VP trim. Since the coupe doors must be larger than the sedan doors, you would likely have to go after market to add the chrome trim.

I'm not sure how to advise you from here. There's probably some options out there, but that area of interest is one I'm not very familiar with. Maybe you should throw this question out is the "modify" section. The folks there might be more knowledgeable. Good luck.
