What is it? High pitched sound

The snow is melting here in North-West. Yesterday I got into a big puddle, and at the stop light I heard high pitched squealing sound somewhere from beneath (belts ??, transmission ??) for about about 10 seconds. Never heard it again since.
So what was that? Should I be concerned?

Wet belts will squeal. As will several wet moving parts. I'd check to make sure there's no milky color in the oil & ATF. But likely you won't find anything.

You NEVER want to go into a puddle up to the bumper! It will **** water up the air intake & ruin the engine!

Probably the serpentine belt. Might want to check for wear and it might be getting due for replacement?

Probably just like everyone said, you got a little water on the belt and it squeeled for a bit. Pretty common.
