k24z2/3 oil filter location
So I haven't changed the oil/filter on my wifes LX-P yet, but I did notice the k24z2 has a fairly desirable filter location (vertically downward). However, I've changed the oil on a k24a2 on a friends TSX and it was horizontal in that same relative location like most Honda are (ie oil gets everywhere when you remove the filter unless you use a deflector).
Is this a 'built in' relocation as in it is part of the z2/3 block? Or is this a part you can buy that is effectively a 90degree elbow to relocate it downward?

Your '09 should have it right next to the drain plug facing downwards.
The blocks are different as well as the oil pan to allow for the relocated oil filter.
