Custom painted headlights/DDM 5000k HID kit/Retrosolutions Angel Eyes installed.

EDIT: Thread updated with night shots!

This is just a teaser for now really. Both headlights need to be resealed for they both VERY slightly fog, I'll be taking pictures of the final product after that is fixed.
THe kit is a DDM raptor (apexcone) 35 w 5000k slim ballast kit and the angel eyes are 95 mm rings from retrosolutions

I apologize for not doing a DIY but my friend is actually the one who did all the work ( for free might I add)

Let me know if you guys want more details

Once again I have to reseal the lights and my car is FILTHY so I'll take final product pics later

Very nice. I have a set of sedan headlights I am playing around with right at the moment. I am probably going to paint the inside of the housing as well in hopes to "thin" out the look of the bulky headlight. I just haven't decided if I am going with flat black or NBP.

Yea that belongs to the friend that was helping me.
I wanted to two rings like yours but got to scared that I wouldn't suspend them correctly and that would be REALLY crappy to have them fall off inside my headlight a month later

Very nice, must be a nice feeling to get rid of the amber, any headlight looks so much better with it being blacked out or clear

I actually ended up keeping the amber, I decided blacking out the amber corner would make lose the aggressive shape of the headlights on a black coupe, looks great on white and silver but just doesn't work on black IMO

everything else is black though

THe black also makes the angel eye and projectors look sooo much better, they are way sharper when they dont have to reflect of the little silver inside housing

I don't mind it, I'd rather it be clear but you HAVE to have it on a black car

The white red and silver coupes that have them blacked out look really good though.

What type of adhesive is your friend going to use to re-seal the headlight?
