input on take-offs

Hey everyone. I believe my baby deserves some better looking feet, and I am kind of torn between two Acura take-offs. I love the wheels from the TSX and I know they look great on our cars. I also remember liking the wheels from the 03 CL-S. Does anyone know if that is a direct bolt on? And which one would you choose?

I would choose the CL-S wheels. I've never seen them on an Accord before, so it would be very unique. I'm not sure the TSX wheels look nice on the Accord either, I don't like em too much myself. I think you're going to have a heck of a time finding either wheel though.

I vote for the TSX wheels. I have seen a car in my area with them and it looks excellent! When I replace my tires, I will be using my current rims for my snow tires and will buy the TSX rims and summer tires.

The TSX wheels look like the '03-04 Accord EX V6 leftovers (same design). My favorite is the '05 polished design on the EX V6, and lucky enough, that's what I found a deal on.
I actually had a guy in an 03 or 04 drooling over my wheels this morning...they are very sharp looking!

For '06, they made them hella ugly.

Silver,

I'm looking at the same upgrade for my '03. The TSX wheels are definitely direct bolt ons and as far as I have been able to find out, the CL-S wheels should be as well. Between those two, my vote is for the CL-S wheels.

I'm looking at the '04/'05 TL rim...

Good luck!
Pete

TL-S wheels were slightly different, more squared off.

I've seen 04 TL wheels on an Accord coupe, they looked good but they came right out to the fender...kinda wide.

Ben,

For TL wheels on an Accord, I've never seen them mounted...do you think there would be problems with rubbing? or

I think it should be okay, no rubbing. As far as we know, TL and Accord are based on the same chassis so they should be interchangeable. And, we had a member earlier today post his pics of 05 TL wheels on an Accord sedan.

Ben,

Thanks for pointing me to the gallery. I'm pretty new to the forum and haven't even checked it out.

When the CL received a facelift, it also got the wheels in the picture I linked in the first post. I personally like those more than the polished fat 5's
