09 Steering Wheel Rattle

Hello all,
I recently bought my 09 accord coming from a 2002 Nissan Maxima. So far I am pleased with my purchase, however I have a small problem. When my car has been sitting in the sun for a period of time(2-3 hours) it makes a rattling noise coming from the steering wheel. If i put my hand over the air bag area the rattle stops immediately. I brought my car to honda, but they claim they cannot replicate the issue...any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I thought I was the only one with this issue lol.

The way you can replicate is hit the bottom right of the wheel with your fist. That replicates for me. The fix I have thought of but not yet implemented is air conditioner foam. If you feel the top of the air bag cover (the piece the H is on) you can get your fingers behind and under it. Not far but far enough to get a piece of rubber or foam insulation in there. That pressure should stop your rattle and it won't interfere with the air bag.
