D3 60mph -70 mph

When i was on my way home from school. By half way home i notice i was in D3 driving around 60 - 70 mph. For the first time. when i found out on the highway i just shift it back to D. Is it ok? For some reason when i switch back to D. in 4 minutes i wanted to do D3 just to see what would happen. and then back to d on high way going 60 - 70 mph. could this mess up my car? i only did it 3 times

I've wondered the same thing. Apparently is fine, as is stated in the manual.

Am I alone in wishing we had a D4 notch? I'd love to use that on the freeway sometimes instead of trying to force a downshift through the pedal.
