Does the accord sound system...

Its a pretty good system since it has a 8' sub in the back. But I am in the process of installing a mtx req5 so I can add aftermarket amps and speakers. I never heard the Bose car systems so cant say.

I have a base system, and the only thing sound quality I felt lacking from a stock Bose system to the new Accord system was the low end. I've heard much better sound quality from better components, but Bose doesn't make exceptional products for vehicles. They just make it more complicated than it needs to be. If I had an option on sound system no matter what trim I got, I'd still get the basic system, and just upgrade on my own terms.

Bose = no high no low. No thanks. An example of a good OEM sound system in a car is the Mark Levinson in Lexus. They easily rival the sound quality of a GOOD SQ car.

Well...kinda hard to answer...I quess it's about the same as other cars in the same price range..Overall-I am 85% happy with it....

Prior to buy my Accord I was test driving Mazda 6's. As far as both me and the Wife were concerned the high end Bose system they had ****ed.
The Honda premium system sounded tons better.

This is what I find when comparing the Bose system on my new 2009 G37X (with Premium and Tech packages) to my Accord:

Listening to CD: both cars very similar, Infiniti slightly better on bass
Listening to XM: Infiniti has much better dynamic range
Listening to IPOD: Accord has smoother, more natural sound
Listening to MP3 (highest bitrates): Infiniti sounds less harsh and has better bass.

Overall there's really not a lot of difference in audio between the two cars.

The cd player is good in the accord...it puts out decent bass..this is how I know because sometimes I like to park up and listen to how far the bass travels from the vehicle...so far...I play a cd..I set the Bass level - 4 and the treble to 6 and turn off the SVC and put down all windows and leave sunroof close..i leave the volume on about 32 and from about 10 feet away I can hear the bass very clearly and crisp. I like to experiment on these things..but the AM/FM quality ****s...no bass watso ever.

Also my friend had a 1998 maxima gle/fully loaded with the bose sound system...im tellin you...you feel like bass like a 3000 watt system...and its rich bass...sounds very good. I'm not sure about the other bose systems...but is there anyway I can buy bose speakers and tweeters and install them into my accord with the stock deck?
AND WHY DIDNT HONDA PUT BOSE IN THERE ANYWAY? FOR THIS ACCORD IT SHOULD OF BEEN STANDARD...becuz seriously...160watts ****s for re-design.

Just two simple questions for you: if you really think that your new Accord ****s so badly then why were you stupid enough to buy it? Did you, again stupidly, not bother to take a test drive?

To be honest..when I was buying it..I had thought it would come with an acutally good sound system..I mean its re-designed..brand new car...all new cars come with decent sound systems..but If i compare it to others like for example...toyota camrys..they come wit JBLS.. WTFFF...honda couldnt even put some decent speakers in there... and this being my first honda...i never really cared about the sound system..becuz i had expectations it would be pretty good...i mean its OKAY...but I've heard better in older cars...like my friends 2002 camry...it has STOCK JBL's and it isnt even FULLY LOADED...so i decided one day to compare his with mine..even he said the speakers are weak. plus...with 160 watts it rattles so damn much...but i will be changing this soon...i cant wait till i get like 3000watt surround sound system installed...
