Top "Little Loves" on Gen. 7

After looking over the "Little Loves" people suggested, I came up with these somewhat common items. Many people were vague and said they loved "most" or "everything else" about the car. Not many people listed "Little" things but a lot of people mentioned common items such as acceleration, styling, or other major likes which didn't fit the category of "Little." Sorry if your "Love" isn't listed.

well, since i dont have a v6, the dual exhaust and the gas struts don't apply to me. i'd pick the ambient light for the shifter, but i wish mine was blue, not amber. don't wanna change it because the dash is all orangeish and i think blue would be silly, so i'm waiting for the tsx instead. in the meantime, i'll enjoy stevel's blue light in the tl! hehe!!

so i picked the key/remote in one.

from the choices....the remote/key all in one. I sometimes forget the Pilot's isn't & get so easily confused....

Light shining on shift lever at night.... I had a light since my old car so it's nothing special to me... As a matter of fact, the ambient light is dimmer than my old car's blue LED's (aftermarket)
Dual exhaust ... I got those?
Gas struts to hold hood up ... Nice not having to work around the hood prop, but I'm usually under the car!
Pull forward/adjustable armrest ... Nice, but I sit far enough back that it doesn't matter for me. My gf tends to think i like it more in the forward position, though.
Key and remote as one ... (picked this one) Gotta love it! Love to roll down the windows with it! Tried doing that in my cousin's new '05 pilot and got pretty disappointed (doesn't have remote windows).

The steering wheel has a nice feel to it. Feels solid.

I like the way that the headlights will auto off, and then turn back on when you unlock. I've left them on a few times so they'd come on when we unlocked, and we'd be able to see.

I like the way it sounds at idle when warmed up. Subtle, and kind of like a whisper.

The indicator ticking is a good sound. The Accord Euro (TSX) had an annoying tick.

Each door has a pocket, and bottle holder. 8 Drinks can be held nicely. (What is the workd coming to?!)

The lights-on chime is pleasant.

The way it sailed up to 140km/h when Dad floored it the other day. Sounded a little like the Porche that passed us, at 5000rpm, actually.

Dual climate control! Yeah!

The firm and solid feeling doors.

The glass which seems to handle heat a lot better than older cars. (Does not let as much heat radiate in.)

The wipers look cool. Huge arms. Nice big sweep.

The awesome splatter when you activate the windscreen washer. It's great.

The way that the three floor mats in the rear hook together.

The super-bright LED indicators on the mirrors.

The horn has a cool sound. Cooler than other cars on the road.

I don't know why but Dad seems to have a lesser regard for city/suburban speed limits when in the '05.

I was just kidding, Stevel! I said that because honda decided to hide the exhaust behind the rear bumper and not put on an exhaust finisher from the factory on all the '03-'05 Accords. Already know about the single pipe leading from the 3rd CAT to the split-off just in front of the rear axle.

Well put! You reminded me of a few things I forgot about such as the windshield washer fan spray vs the old, dual stream, pee-shooters! I would always get one stream that gets slightly blocked by wax or get out of alignment and shoot right over the roof and hit the trunk instead.

The biggest little love for me is the navi.

If I had to choose a standard feature it would be the keyfob (just to annoy all of the Acura owners. )

yeah, noticed that the new washers hit the ENTIRE WINDSHIELD....... very nice.....

only one of my squirters works, and it's kind of inconsistent too...... can't wait to be blinded by salt on the PA TP...

Stiller, try sticking a needle into the nozzle. It should help clear out some of the gunk. You could also use the needle to adjust the nozzles while you're at it. If that still doesn't work, then you could get new nozzles. They just snap in there.

Another love: I love how the washer nozzles on the 7th gen are located below the hood! I loved them on the late Prelude, too!

that may be a design flaw if you don't clear all of the snow from underneath the wipers though..... all the washer fluid trying to spray through that snow will go to waste instead of you cleaning the salt off.......

of course, the same goes for the nozzles on the hood as well....

the spray is nice. would be nicer if mine were properly aimed. been wrong since the accident. dumb body shop claims it's "correct".

hey, brush all the snow off the car and you won't have that problem. except when driving behind the moron who only wipes a 2inch by 2 inch square to see out the front window and lets the rest create a psuedo blizzard for other drivers on the road.
