97k miles on my 07 Accord EX-L 2.4L. Wow, Josh... I'm actually ahead of you! I've been away from the board for a while and hadn't noticed you finally got a 7th gen... how are you liking it?

overall, loving the ownership of the 7th gen... definitely the best car that i have ever owned....

of course tho, she's not without her flaws.... slight hesitation of acceleration below 3k rpms, rattles here and there, tint scratched on front windows, driver's side window visor tab snapped off, adding a quart of oil every oil change, tires that won't stop vibrating above 70-75mph along with slight pull to left even after 2 alignments...

i still love my car tho, flaws notwithstanding.... i want her to beat my 93 accord in terms of longevity and mileage.... i'm shooting for 500k right now.

i bought her with 45k on the clock in september.... she has 81k on her now, and hope to have her see 50k miles in less than a year by fall....

I recall there is a service bulletin for some Accords where the sub frame was bolted on a bit to the left or to the right. Quick google search revealed this http://www.vtec.net/forums/one-messa...sage_id=165729 Could that be it?

07 now at 102,000. Maintenance minder light came on for timing belt, spark plugs. That going to hurt the wallet.

06 accord at 42k KM or 26k miles.
No problem at all, just do the maintenance as instructed by the manual book.

Go to the tire shop "the one you got the tires at" and tell them to see if the tire is separated, or maybe the tire is not balanced right, also tell them the recalibrate the machine. Also tell them DON'T counter balance any tires. And the tire with the least amount of weight needs to be on the front left tire the 2nd least amount on the right front ending with the one that has the most weight on the right rear.

Josh, you'll most certainly beat me there... I used to be able to do 50k per year when I had my 96 Accord (which is still going strong at 305k miles btw!), but I just can't drive that much anymore. I'm down to about 20-25k per year, and that is only because I still drive between Orlando and New Orleans pretty frequently (in fact, I'll be taking this car there next weekend). I lived in Michigan for the first two years that I owned the 96 and I made A LOT of trips between Michigan, Florida and Lousiana. Gas was a lot cheaper back then!

05 LX sedan, 2.4L with Automatic - 87k miles.

Most of you know this got passed down to my son a couple of years ago. Took ownership almost 6 years ago to the day. Mechanically, it's still like new. Uses no oil, tranny fill'n drain every 20k miles shows almost no wear via the magnet on the drain plug, new front brake/rotors at 75k miles, rear shoes likely this summer. Otherwise it's stock. He's not taken care of it as well as I would have from a cosmetic/interior standpoint, but it should last him many more years given what I'm seeing.
