close up of the rear. jack stands in front & the floor jack for the back. Put the Pilot's mini spare on one rear for safety because she will be sitting like this until tomorrow night.

Then the new rims will be put on!!!!

I'll post more after her weekend bath.

meaccord,

I go in & out of the garage a lot, so I'll be seeing her like that ALL DAY!!!

Yep! They're barely noticable. They only come in black. On the other Accord we carefully painted them the match (silver). I think they should all come with them! It helps with the road rash!

Princess,

Where is the best place to place the floor jack so it doesn't damage anything?

It looks like you put the jack stands under the same spot that you showed us before...the picture w/ an arrow in it, pointing to the jack location. But I was wondering what the best spots are for when you use the floor jack, both on the front and rear of the car.

Bean,

On the front it's as pictured. The arrows point to the spot. It's pretty easy to see from underneath. The stands go behind the wheel, under the door in the little reinforced spot. Just like where the tire jack would go.

I looked for Honda's recommended spot on the rear & could not find it. There's so much to be careful of: brake lines, soft metals & the gas tank.... I don't know where to tell you.

Luckily you only need to lift the front for services & for tire rotation you can use the sides, like recommended, & use a floor jack in the front & put jack stands under the sides. That could get 3 corners up! I guess Honda prefers using the big floor lifts.

Your first pic shows the floor jack in the rear.
That's what I was wondering about...what spot you used in the rear to jack it up.

It's on one of the suspension parts. But I don't know exactly which one. HE did it! It's not recommended & you have to be VERY careful!!!

He really doesn't recommend it. We wouldn't want anyone to damage their car, or themselves.

Here's where it is.....
